not for the faint of heart

i know, i know,  nobody reads my blog, well except for my boyfriend, but of course he doesn't count. he reads it because he loves me and he constantly wants to check on my spending. they say i am a runaway train when it comes to shopping.

the purpose of this post is the revelation of the 100 in 365 project.

it is:  100 pairs of shoes in 365 days!
100 articles of clothing in 365 dayy!
&100 pieces of accessories and or make up!

and the catch is,  purchases will mostly be off of multiply.com
a few from department stores and thrift shops (ukay)
and not a single item will exceed 2,800 pesos. which is $ 63.00 to you non filipinos.

i am very excited. i have already purchased a couple of items, and will ofcourse review them, and after every succesful transaction, yours truly will post pics and give you the link to the online store.

i hope you're as happy as i am.
are you? somewhere? out there? anyone?

p.s.
and before you give much appreciated remarks as: omg that is so overspending/just save/you are so vain/self absorbed/inconsiderate/a lot of people are in need of food, shelter etc etc/why don't you just donate to charity...
well i would just like to say that...
the money i spend is hard earned,  i did not steal it, or batted my eyes to daddy. i will not use credit cards (as much as possible) and finally, as long as i am not a nuisance, as long as i'm not harming anyone, and as long as my spending is not actually crippling my lifestyle, i am happy. so f you. :)

payless shoes in manila

on the 8th day god created shoes.
and he with his voice made it all happen.

yes! let me string you along... for me love for shoes. shoes look good still even if you packed on a few pounds. shoes can make or break an outfit. and yeah i am a shoesemist, i admit i judge people how chaka they are by the pair they have on. shoes are god's greatest gift to man, second to make up. :)
the only downside attached to shoes is the price tag.

that is why i am happy to bring forth such good tidings... they decided to bring this chain of shoe retailers here in our humble third world country... philippines

who?
PAYLESS SHOES, that's who!
eclavoo aside, i can not afford to buy me self some louboutins. even if i sell my excess baby fat per kilo, and let me stress on the word excess... and the word baby fat (dahil feelingera akong payat ako, at sempre forever young).

you don't need  rocket science to figure out what they are... the brand says it all. payless... pay less for designer inspired shoesems. but if you insist, wanna know more about payless shoes you can click this... or this!

anyhoo...
i'm not sure how many outlets they plan on opening but i saw 2 already, one in megamall, and another in...
whowouldhavethought-wellnotinamillionyears...
ALIMALL yo.
ah so close to me! i can just wake up, bring my coffee and newspaper, and shop in my bathrobe.

that's all, kthanksbye

welcome to foundation day

Lately I've been thinking a wee bit about makeup. If u know me well, youd know, i am the layer queen of aesthetic enhancements. like a ritual, before i let the public see me, the question in front of the mirror is "dramatic cat eyes? or bright red lips?"

As much as I love a bare face (especially since it takes no time at all), i cannot not wear make up. my skin, cause of my genetic make up, (no pun intended ) is covered with tons and tons of constellations. damn freckles. and i really look sick without any on.

I consider makeup an extension of an outfit, but in other times a bare face can, in some cases add fresh-ness to an outfit.

SIGH.

since I cannot make myself look FRESH, cause i cant be sans the layer and layer of goo, I would instead really like the idea of having a signature makeup look, something that is immediately identifiable.

has anyone of you tried the spray on make up? i wanna know what u think abt it.
