The next time you feel miserable know that you are envied sometimes. You may have lost a boy but you are gaining a child. You will give birth to one more person in this world who will love you, one more person in this world who someone else will love too. This is the kind of love that never leaves, only grows. Do not listen to people who will tell you otherwise; you are far more fortunate than they are. You are a daughter to a mother and a father who understand, who are excited for you, who are right there, filling even more space in your life than you thought was possible.
And now you have the biggest space to fill but you are not alone: your son or daughter is already filling that space with you. Go on and fill the spaces inside you. Then look outside and ask yourself what makes a place a home. We will all come back to a home. There is no way out of it.
