TODAY I MADE GEORGE

took a break from the quilt and started on my side side-project:
stuffed toys from old clothes.
DIY plushies.

named my one eyed monster: George

old scarf from Ex's halloween costume
red cloth
a single button (martha Stewart Blue)
green wash cloth.
old chef's uniform
cotton fiber filling
coffee beans

chillin

made him a secret belly pocket

i did not want George to become lonely so i made him a friend, (named her petunia) who is still in the works.

oh no she's unravelling!

kickin it with my mother, they're tight y'all

materials

main body

fold for forehead

for mouth/belly

cut strip of red for lips

add filling for rounder lips

pin into place

sew

attach to forehead

attach to belly, assemble and sew

cut into rectangles for arms

sew and invert

cut longer rectangles for legs add red textile for soles and flair

fill with beans or buckwheat (i used coffee beans para scented)

fill in both legs ( 1/4 cup per leg)

insert filling

attach em arms and gams, leave a hole in between legs to fill body with the fibre filling

attach details: eye, teeth etc

sew shut all openings
