we got it all for you

a word that gets me crackin all the time,
hibijibis. heebeejeebeez.
i don;'t know how to spell it.
it's a funny funny word.

.
whoever said that money can't buy happiness does not know where to shop. or who to shop for. it brings me extreme joy to shop and buy things for people i love. today was the first day of the 3 day sale in SM. and ofcourse i just HAD to go, here was my itinerary for the day, first stop: globe communications. paid my monthly and then sent payments to 4 online stores.

and yes, since i am ADD, i just have to make a simple review about the ff multiply stores:
1. quigle baby: they have a wide selection of products and their price is average to a bit expensive. owner is polite and prompt in answering queries or texts.
2. twinkletoes: very very nice lady, told me about the sizes for babies, explained why i should buy less 0-3 sizes and lean more on to the 6-12. she says babies spurt surprisingly fast so do not buy too much infant clothes.
3. tinyones: this is my favorite store, suki na kasi ako, and it just takes 2 days for the delivery to get here. they're not overpriced and the store owner is so accommodating and friendly. she volunteers in this animal welfare group, which is so cool btw. you all know that i love animals. especially dogs! their group also look for homes for abandoned dogs.
4. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! THE OWNER IS SO RUDE!!! i made an order in the morning and she wanted me to settle the payment same day, before 1pm. ofcourse i was asleep, my shift ends at 6am, and starts at 6pm (for those who are unaware, i work from home, and it's a 12 hour shift). she kept buzzing me over at YM and she kept sending texts all in caps : WE DON'T RECEIVE PAYMENT! (nevermind her grammar error) but wow, wow. I've been shopping online for years now and it's the first time i encountered such a tacky store owner. the name of the shop is... (well i will reveal once i get the package. i don't want her sabotaging the overpriced baby shoes i bought. was way too overpriced, i saw the same shoes over at tinyones and they sell it for 450 a pair, and this store made me pay 700 for it. and when i said, "mahal pala the baby shoes" she replied, (in caps again) BRANDED KASI!
i'm never buying from her again.

okay just let out a steam. i'm good now. blogging is healthy, see?
anyway, back to my story... so after the gcash payments my brother and i went to the baby section. i used to do this with my ex. and just so you know, i am not re-living any romantic routine i used to share with my ex, it's just that when you're pregnant you are drawn to the baby section. so there i was standing in the middle of baby heaven, surrounded by aisle and aisles of colorful and pricey products. capitalism at it's best.
vat to buy vat to buy?
i need....
i need...
i need...
oh yes, i need baby bottles. eyes searched top to bottom, there you are... Avent.

avent by Philipps

remember the end of jan sale the lady told me about a couple of blogs before? well today's the day!
Avent is on sale! if you call that sale. 1,200 pesos for 3 bottles. reg price is 450 a bottle. do the math, cause I can't. i just bought 6 bottles from avent and one 3-piece set bottle from firstyears.
how weird looking is that nipple? it claims to be hi-tech too.

the sales attendant handed me a basket followed me around as i asked tons of questions, which is better? why is it better? why the hell is your electronic breast pump cost 15,000php!?!?!? wow. 15 kiyaw for a friggin breast pump. suggested the manual pump cause it costs less, like ten thousand less. well i might love shopping but not that much, i'm not paying 5k for a breast pump. i asked what's the next best brand and it's chicco.
chicco breastpump = 2k. see. see. 2k! that's more like it.
who knew these things cost a fortune. the sterilizer is sold at 8k. breastpumps go for 5-15k, and cribs are from 6-18k. that's an arm and leg!
so i guess, it's goodbye to shopping for me. (for the mean time)
no more "mommy first".
look they gave me a mom card, (which made me feel so old by the way) it gives you 10% discount on baby/children stuff. works much like the advantage card/rewards card from SM/BDO. it's their way of saying, thank you so much for spending your hard earned money on us, pls shop more!
