And that's Jacqui for you. :) I once knew a girl who had a fondness for pets, but didn't have heart that's big enough to care for them. We had a prize Himalayan cat named Star- she costs around 80k and is really beautiful. Star ran away because she didn't gave her anymore attention after a year. Then we had Sawyer, a perfect Persian breed. Sawyer ran away because she left her too long outside the balcony. She brought him out there because the "meowing" annoyed her, because she was coming down from whatever substance she took that day. Cats are supposed to meow, and mothers aren't supposed to use drugs. And lastly, to alleviate the trauma of having cats and losing them, I got her a toy poodle for her 34th birthday. She named him Hurley- he's so cute, was really timid the first day but learned a lot of tricks in just a few months. I taught him how to walk/skip/walk on two legs- and with a dog biscuit, he can walk and walk for around 3 meters. Hurley is nowhere to be found now. She left the gate and the front door open one night and Hurley ran away.
More than feeling bad for her pets (who are either dead or with better owners now, either way they are still in better places than under her care) I feel bad for her. They say that how you take care of pets show how you care for people. They say before having a child, try getting a pet first. Fail, fail, and fail. No pets, no more children, and well, no more husband.
Seeing you like this with a 5-month old pug and a baby in your belly makes me fall in love with women again. It makes me fall in love with love. It makes me believe that the love I have here and how i perceive it to be is real. And on your part, the beautiful thing is that it's effortless. You just care because it's in your nature. It's good to be in the cycle of love- as with anything, what goes around, comes around. Love.
Star ran away because she didn't GIVE her attention after a year.
yun yung sad. akala ng mga tao na they can just purchase or adopt a pet tapos ganun lang kadali yun. ay nako neil dont get me started jan sa "being a responsible pet owner".
